I bought the summit goalie stick. And so far its pretty amazing. It's has a composite paddle and wood at the top. So when you get a shot on the stick you dont feel it. It's a very thin Paddle, I can shoot the puck so much better with it. Its probaly the best stick i have bought in some time, i'm just wondering what other people think about it. Jury is still out on this one for me...

The razor thin paddle "looks" nice. My concerns are 1) When Sherwood first tried to add a graphite blade to a wood handle what they ended up with was a whole bunch of sticks that broke right at the joint in relatively little time. (A few games max) 2) Graphite blades seem to accelerate the rebound. The puck hits with and impressively loud bang and seems to take off like a shot. Not really advantageous for puck control.

Just my 2 cents but I don't think the properties of graphite translate well into a goalie stick. For now, I'll stick to my woodies. ;)

I have a pair that were sent to me and I've been testing them for a couple of weeks now. No real rebound issues but I'm not sure that the flat paddle isn't a gimmick. I don't really recall having many issues with a standard paddle. This is the first TPS stick that I've used that I didn't have vibration issues with tho.
