Jovo over Redden?

Experience, as much as it means, doesn't justify a bad player.

Redden is a solid player and brings a lot to the club, I think the deal was completely justified and I think we'll see a lot out of Redden this season. He's a staple in the organization.

Jovo won't get that much.

They should have gotten him to take less so he could stay. I am sure some great players want to play in Ottawa and would take a pay cut for that chance at the Cup. Oh wait, Ottawa will never win the Cup and I am a Leafs fan. Overpay away, idiots.

He deserves more than McCabe, but McCabe is also overpaid. He'll make more than Jovo, but I'm not sure if he can impact a game in as many ways. Jovo can play offense (but not as well as Redden), but he's able to change the game physically, where Redden can't.

Jovo's prone to mental gaps like McCabe, that's why the people in Vancouver don't like him. Problem is, So is Redden, only his seem to always come in the playoffs and at poor times. He and Chara have a big problem falling off when it matters the most.
