Going to pick up One90 gloves today

Recommended Posts

TBLfan - I'd go with the all black. It just looks so sleek and professional. I don't know I just like the classic all black look.

I agree... BUT the black/red is just soo sexy. I've all but talked myself out of the navy... but black and red!!! grrrrr

black  black/red

those palms look comfy but thick....

The are comfy and the thickness isn't really anything that makes you want to complain about.

Anyone have a pcture of these infamous black/red gloves. I couldn't wear them anyway with my team colors.

I can't find any pics of them besides the small one on the nbh site. But I'm picturing this:

but instead of navy it's black.

but here's a pic of the supreme 50s in black/red

Just out of curiosity, howmuch do these thins weigh? Anybody know. I have a pair of the 50's and I love them. LHS does not have the 90's in yet. Think I might stick with the 50s anyway.

Lighter than they should be :D . These thing are extremly light. Like when I have them on my hands they feel like a second skin and I don't even notice them. It's basically like wearing a winter glove. That's the same feel and just as light. Amazing, did not think they were this light.

UPDATE

So I used these things 3 times so far for a total of 3 hours. They kick so much ass. At first they were, dare I say it, a little stiff and now they are broken in to how my hands hold the stick and it's like the molded a little bit. The glove is so light that you don't really feel it on your hand and when you do notice it, it's like wearing a winter glove. One thing I really like is when you are skating you get really nice airflow and you can feel the air on your hands. One complaint that is since they are close to your hand they get somewhat warm if you aren't doing much resulting in slightly sweating hands put they don't slide off. Questions?

Wait until the cooler months of the season and the gloves won't feel as warm/hot as now. I stopped wearing them for the summer since I sweat so much. The sweat was coming off the Dri-Fit shirt sleeve into the gloves adding to the warmth/wetness. The gloves are like a second skin. Great description. I have always said you forget they are on.

hey all, had my one90's for about 2 weeks now (4/5 hours playing time)

I love them, completly agree with what has been said so far, and they look great in navy!

The only thing that worries me though is how long they will last, the leather on the palms is rubbing down quite a bit already and its pretty thin....what do you guys think?

any one90 user played with the vapor XX? They felt nice and light but a bit too stiff i must say. tehn at the same time i put on a vapor xx glove in my other hand and it didn't felt as stiff as the one90..

personally i thought the 70's felt more comfortable than the 90's. I don't know how to explain it but the 90's kind of felt " dry" if that makes any kind of sense. Nice gloves either way thou.

The gloves look robotic or like something a robot would wear if robots played hockey if that makes any sense to you all, hah. There pretty nice looking gloves, I wanna try a pair on cuz I need new gloves now that there is no palm left in my Bauer Xs. I have to put tape around 3 of the fingers on each glove to keep my hand from falling out of my glove.
