Synthesis Question/Advice

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to fit anything besides an int. synthesis blade in a int. synthesis shaft? Reason Im asking is because i love the CCM lemieux (It is NOT a sakic clone) and it only comes in a senior size blade? Any suggestions or Advice? The only reason im considering the synthesis is because they are on sale at HM

You can flip the synthesis and put a jr. standard blade in it, but it kinda defeats the purpose of buying the synthesis. (a friend had a cut int. synergy and it took jr blades when flipped)

If you're looking for a cheaper shaft in an intermediate flex, go for the cyclone. It somes in 70 or 95 flex and has a smaller shaft diamerter with rounded edges. I absolutely loved mine. It's still compression molded graphite/kevlar, and it takes standard seniors.

edit: i saw the price on the synthesis at HM. good buy.

If the curve you want only comes in a senior blade, you could consider using a wooden blade and shaving it down to fit either end. Ãf it's a tapered, you'd have to go with the tapered end, but a standard would fit in either.

just another idea.
