bauer classic vs supreme..width difference?

Recommended Posts

Currently skating on Bauer 5000 supreme comp, looking at the bauer classic gold, i had the 5000 stretched to fit, and, i want to go down foprm a 8.5 to a 8.0. Would i be better off getting a classic gold in a 8.0E, or is their "wider" fit that much wider. Thanks for any advice.

ps..anyone know where i can get em cheap?

I am skating with the Classic Gold's for roller hockey, and I usually wear a EE in Bauer but I got a D with and they fit me just fine. These skates are nice and comfy, but they are not the lightest skate. If you can't find your size, I'd reccomend either the new 6000's or the Vapor XI's, which are both around the $200 and you should be able to find them in EE width. I don't know where you'll be able to find the Golds in EE though, because I tried to order from hockeymonkey and they didn't have any in stock even though it shows that they did. They do have them for $200 which is a really good deal. HockeyGiant also has them but I don't know what sizes they got. Good luck with them, I love the skates so go for it, you won't be dissapointed.
