RBK/CCM Defective Skate Hardware

I was not in the shop this past Friday when RBK/CCM called to say they are sending replacement parts for all the new Customlite cowlings. There has been a problem with the assembly. Once I get the parts I will post a follow-up. If you have the new goal skates with this cowling, get the parts replaced at your LHS.

Yes, they added washers to the screws to hold the steel in tighter. Seems goalies didn't like the clicking sounds all the regular skaters have experienced with their replaceable steel. Personally, i didn't think it was a big deal, all it took was a little turn with the screwdriver to tighten them, but some people just can't operate simple hand tools, so the washers solved the problem. The fix takes about 2 minutes, remove the screw, add washer, tighten screw.
