I had jofa 8090's and I loved them. I can't find them anymore, hopefully I can find a pair. But its looking like I have to get another pair. My LHS doesn't have much to try on, so I was wondering what is the most similar pair. RBK 7k? Any help would be great, thanks.

Go with the 7k. It's a great pad.

Rbk's do amazing shin-pads. The fit isn't quite perfect for me but the protection is excellent. I've got the 6k shins and they are great.
