response armor question

Does it have "grip" per say like the adrenaline control or is it rigid ( a RBK like snake grip idea) I noticed in the pics it had a checkered design thing on the shaft

Maybe because it isn't important? The blade looks like other TPS blades, the shaft is similar to other TPS shafts but has a slight embossing in the paint from what I recall.

i've own a r2armor shaft and the pattern you're talking about isn't like a true-1...if you really care they're dimples similar to a golf-ball.

oh and the grip on the r2armors are so slight you almost don't feel it....definately not worth the additional $15 cdn i paid for.

Do you mean R2 control or R2armor? the control is the one with a grip coating.

I've got an adrenaline control and it's got a pretty tacky grip on it, although it is a prostock and it may have more or less grip than a retail tps stick.

The grip on the adrenaline controls are very tacky compared to the R2armor controls. The grip on the armours are very slight.
