CCM Vector pro gloves vs. RBK 8k

Recommended Posts

I've tried both, both are super comfortable. The Pittard's palm is very nice, won't dry hard and wicks moisture. For more detailed info you can visit www.ccmsports.com, or rbkhockey.com.

I really liked the palms on the Vector Pros, but found they didn't work well with me. Great gloves, just not the fit I was looking for.

I tried on both, and I found the RBks were too bulky for my. The cuff was super long on the RBKs, which didn't suit me. I ended up buying Vector Pros, but I haven't been able to use them in a game yet. I bought 14", which I like better than 15" because I don't like bulky, and the palm is cut in such a way that a 15" hand fits nicely in a 14" glove.

My decision acutally came down to either the Vector Pros or Pro Tacks, and I just liked the smaller fingers and more nimble feel of the Vectors. The adjustable cuff is kind of cool, but I really just adjusted it all the way open, so it probably didn't matter.

So if you prefer the Pro tacks, or Bauer SDP style gloves, then IMO the 8K are more for you, but if you like VApor XXX style then the Vectors would be the way to go.

But, of course, as with anything on this board, its all PP.

I loved the way the vector pros felt, but the palm is too grippy for my liking.

If I could have nylon vector pros with a nash palm I would be in heaven... GH_ID, I hate you! :P
