Mounting Tuuks to Grafs

Recommended Posts

So i just bought a pair of great white 703 skates. I was told that mounting Tuuks on Grafs takes a little more work because the shape of the bottom of the boot is different from Bauers and tuuks are made to fit on Bauers. I was wondering what people's experiences on this board have been for this process?

I had xxx then switched to one 90's but just couldnt get rid of the pain in my foot. I now have graf 735s with tuuks put on them, and think they're great. The graf boot fits my foot amazingly well, and with the tuuks aswell it's awesome.

i bought the g35's because i loved the boot, but i hated the t-blades so i put tuuk customs on them. the holes didn't line up exact, but it didn't affect the stiffness of the sole at all.

Are there any issues with putting Lightspeeds on a Graf boot? Seems like the popular choice for replacing Cobras is Customs, but I'd like to go with Lightspeeds unless it's a whole lot of trouble.

Nope, in fact, most of the Graf models were designed to accommodate Tuuk as they did not have their holder yet.

Best thing to do is heat up the boot then mount.

what do you mean?

You heat up the graf skates with the cobra holder and then make the switch or pull off the cobra holder and then bake the graf boot and then mount the holder. Sorry about that JR. I just can't figure.

No, you remove the holder then warm up the Graf boot. Makes it more pliable.

Kovy - you don't have enough posts.
