Cracked Adrenaline Blade

Recommended Posts

My adrenaline has a crack going down the the blade from about the top of the black part on the back hand to the bottom of the blade. It hasn't broken yet, but I can flex the blade in my hand and can feel it flex when I handle the puck on the ice. Is there any way to repair the blade?

You could try to epoxy the blade, but it probably won't last very long. More of a temporary fix than anything else. You can heat and pull blades out of most TPS sticks (I believe the adrenaline is one of them) and they're instantly tapered shafts. Instead of paying $70 to repair a blade, you're better off getting a new blade for about $50 and swapping it.

I used epoxy to fix my XN10 blade and it did help a little but didnt fix it. and i also had absolutely no feel with it.

I prefered it broken to it having epoxy.

You can heat them up and pull out the blade because as far as i know the adreneline is the same as the xn10, apart from it having that shock absorber thing.

Thats how my Adrenaline broke, it will break soon, and it's better to just turn it into a shaft. Or toss the stick all together and take out the shock relief insert and put it into another OPS.

Adrenaline has a kevlar wrap that the XN10 didn't have
