Trying to find the convert Sl to shaft thread.

The topic says it all.I am trying to convert it into a tapered shaft.I did cut it at a kindda of fuse point.But there is foam and the wall seem way to thick to get the hossel to fit in.

you have to chisel the foam out and chisel the tennon of the blade that was in the SL. Thats why it looks so think

I helped a mate do this to 2 of his sticks and it took us 2 days! LOL :D

We ended up getting chissels stuck in the shaft and then pulling off the handles and things but what we found was a good way of getting it out was the make several drills down the shaft in the foam and then chissel where the old blade connected to the shaft and then pulling out the whole thing with some snout nosed plyers (I think)

But in short it was a right bitch to do, but then again we aren't exactley DIY experts.
