The liner is meshy, but not as bad as the Graf.

i just saw the display skate at my LHS.. they look like they could be the most comfortable or uncomfortable skate in the world.. there is some weird looking padding for the ankle

I've skated on them 2 practices and just played a game in mine last night and so far they feel great. I have a bit of extra padding around the ankles though cuz I have boney ankles, but I can see how this skate might be a real hit or miss with some people. That weird ankle padding that your talking about is right below your ankle and it locks your heel in place.

My S500s have had that padding for years and it's great.

Finally got up to my best LHS and saw the display of these things. WOW are the light. If they are comfortable it must feel like your not even wearing skates. Haven't worn an Easton skate in awhile but after I wear down my 9k's, they might be my next skate.

I noticed when looking on greatskate that there were no SK9's, they just jump from 11 to 7. Whats up with that?

I dont know but i think if they are offering to preorder all the other skates, they might as well have the SK9's up there too

Those are the s15's. A kid on my team is testing a pair for epuck.com. They are light, but have no protection up top above the ankle. I can push the top of the skate together without much effort at all.

All the synergy skates I have owned have had soft ankles, so Id image these would be just as stiff as the Synergy skates are.

i was thinkin about doing the same thing, but i'm not sure if easton is right for me, but i did have one pair on in a shop that fit like a glove

Thats what I'll be doing when I get them if I go with them over the Vapors. Looking forward to that day of trying them all on.
