Goalie undergarmets

Recommended Posts

My son has up till now worn a Itech short jock combo. Just picked up a goalie cup for him and a garter belt and I am wondering what he should wear now? Should I get him some compression shorts or something like the Vaugh goalie suit?

I got a nice pair of Under Armor compression shorts to help prevent groin injuries, I highly reccomend this. I also wear the CCM underwear, the long pants and the short sleeved t-shirt. Both are a under armor like material that keeps you dry and light, however the CCM company claims their fabric is better than the Under Armor brand and that it wont wear out of wash off.

Thanks for the info once again...

I got him some UnderArmour Compression shorts. He doesn't want to wear anything longer/additional because he thinks he will get too hot...

i just wear a shortsleeve loose underarmour. i dont like the skin-tight ones, because it feels all weird when you first put it on, but then it goes away. but i think the loose shirt feels really cool (as in cold) after a bit of sweat. i also just wear boxers down there, and my cup over that.

cook22 said he thinks thats annoying. wear anything longer and i think thats annoying to take off later, sticks and everything. i've gotten used to it, nothing much.

I use the under armor compression shorts now and they are specialist hockey ones with velcro to hold up my hockey socks so that my straps dont rip my legs to shreds. i also wear a skin tight long sleeve underarmor top and having made the switch to it from an all in one hockey sweat suit by sherwood i can really notice the difference, i stay much drier during the game, its more comfertable in general because of it! i definatly recomend making the change
