Kostitsyn is a skill guy...Downey is a grit guy. If they are really going to replace Downey on the roster with a player who fits what his role on the team was, Lapierre (or maybe Chipchura) would be more likely than Kostitsyn to go up.

Kostystin will be the first up, yes he is a skilled guy but from seeing him play in the pre-season he is also a physical guy. No he isn't as physical as Downey, no one compares to Downey in the Montreal system. Murray did a good job the past game. They just need to bring someone up because of the injury problems. Dandenault who is beeing replaced by Streit and may I add that he is doing a great job at it, he as been one of the best Dmen in the past 2 games.
