Blade size

I just picked up a Pro stock blade that has a very long hosel ( think thats right?) but I noticed it is a bit shorter blade than most blades. I remember an EX AHL player I used to play with used to cut his blades short and said it was better? I know it helps with passing (aka Oates). Do anyone know the benefits of a short blade Vs. long blade.

I am loving blades long blade shapes! I find they are awesome for stickhandling and accurate shots! It just sucks that there are not many retail patterns that are a longer shape.

personally the only blade i can play with is an l-2 hull or its a lindros basically on bauers...but its a really short blade and i love it...my advice would be to just try both and see which one fits your style better...
