Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted October 23, 2006 I am working on an essay and I want to put my last name up in the area that the page number is. I'll need both the page number and my last name. Does anyone else know how to do this? I've seen it done, but have never done it myself.
Miike 1 Report post Posted October 23, 2006 Couldn't you just make a text box, and do it that way? I don't know of any formal way.
McCabe24 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2006 Yeah, I just do it manually at the end of my other formatting. However, I doubt you want the same placement as me - upper right corner.

hockeymom 2 Report post Posted October 23, 2006 Easy - what you want is to stick it in the header so it repeats on every page?If so, drop down menu "view" and select header&footer. You can put your name anywhere - you'll probably want it in the extreme left with page # on the extreme right. Is this the info you are looking for?

Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 Got another one. I am in the middle of writing my essay, and for whatever reason the synonym feature isn't working when I right click on a word. It does when I start up a new document, but when I copy the essay into a this new document it doesn't work. Any suggestions?
bheidepr 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 try SpellChecking your document/page and either fix each item or Ignore it. You should then have the Synonym in the right click context menu.Hope this works.
