One90s

So I have had my one90s for about 2 weeks now and everytime I skate I start to get really bad pain in the bottom in my foot.

You would think that this would stop after around a week but my feet continue to hurt.

We did bake them and my friend has rbk skates and his feet stopped hurting after the 3rd day of using them.

I skate around 2 times a day and everyday of the week.

If someone could please help me out that would be great.

Thanks

What size are both and what size dress shoes and running shoes do you wear?

the size in my 900s were 10 and the one90s are 9 and my dress shoes are 10 and my running shoes are 10 but my 900s were never fitted properly

I use the regular footbeds in them and I use moisture wickening socks but i tryed normal socks and that didn't help either

I havent seen one guy yet wear a ONE90 only one size down from his shoes. And very rarely ever seen a guy wear a skate period the same size as his shoes....

I dont think they fit at all.

Its kind of right in the middle it only goes up to about an inch from my toes and it stops at my heels and the pain just kind of stays right in the middle of my foot it doesnt really go on the outside of my foot

You must have a high arch then and the skate is to big......it is pulling the tendion in the bottom of your foot. You try a superfeet in there and i bet a buck you wont have an issue and as well you will see the toes come way off the front!

That area is the area that usually hurts when the skate is to big and not enough arch support.

haha.. I think he's trying to say 'go buy skates that fit you properly'... I'm a size 10 running shoe, and I was fitted for a 7.5EE in the Nike/Bauer One90..

Sounds to me like the skates are the wrong size or, they might not be the right skate for you. If you have a high arch you may need a skate with more depth. I would go to a place where you know that the staff is knowledgable and ask their opinion. My son had similar problems with RBK 9K's. He had been fitted for an 11.5 E. Turns out he should be an 11 regular. The store took back the skates minus a $100 because he had them for 3 months (but wore them maybe 5 times due to impossible pain). He went back to Grafs and they were broken in in a week.

Go back to your LHS and explain the problem and the suggestion of Superfeet. Try Superfeet, they really are a great product.

The Superfeet should solve your arch problem (and I wouldn't take OTG's bet because I'd likely lose - there are few people who know as much about fitting as he does). If the superfeet don't solve the problem, it is a larger fit issue, in which case, go back to your LHS and work with them on a solution.

If that doesn't work... well I guess you're going to either Detroit or Toronto to have JR or OTG fit you for skates and catch an NHL hockey game...LOL

Are you joking me I can't just bring my skates in after 2 weeks of using them and say oh they don't fit my feet properly and I can't just keep these and spend another $800 on skates when these were allready $900.

I'am going to get superfeet today and that will hopefully solve my problems

Maybe my feet are made differently but I could in no way squeeze my feet into anything lower then a 8 and the size 8-8.5 were really tight on me and my toes and presses right against the end which really hurt.

And i'am also still growing so that was a concern when we bought these skates.

I'm not joking.. I'm not trying to be an a**, but skates that don't fit properly will give you a plethora of troubles. I know... I was fitted improperly for a pair of RBK 5k Pumps... I'm a size 9.5 shoe, but I wear a 10 for extra width... the guy put me in a 9E. They were too big, leading to blisters, callouses, and severe arch pain (I have an extremely low arch). I took them back, and was fitted with a different rep at the lhs.... I ended up in a 7.5E. One and a Half sizes smaller than what I had previously purchased. I don't know about your shop, but my lhs offers a 30 day return policy, with a 10% restock fee if the skates dont work out for you... inquire a bit.

Luckily, they took the skates back under warranty from RBK (on the boot).

Normally, if you know you're still growing, you would steer clear of the most expensive skate on the market- when you know you're going to outgrow them.

You probably already tried this but try tying em a little bit looser. Last year I got new skates and they hurt my feet really bad in that area so i just loosened em up a bit and they were fine...
