New weave on 04 Z Bubbles

I was looking at a few of the 2004 Z bubble shafts today at my lhs and the graphite weave looks much tighter. Is this "therma-tec" or just a new look for the shaft?

Your guess is as good as mine but if the graphite weave is tighter it probably means that its the new therma tec design
