tightening LS2 baldes

My son has a pair of Vapor XXX skates and the blades are "clicking" when he walks. The blades feel tight in the holder. His old skates, Vapor XX had a long key that went down inside the skate to tighten the blade. It appears the Vapor XXX have a simple nut to tighten. I searched but could not find out what size socket I need to tighten it. Any help would be appreciated

8 mm and dont over tighten. Take it off first check it all and re-install the blade.

I have a similar problem with my current Lightspeeds. When I tap my toe down I hear a slight clicking, though when I try to move the holders with my hand there is no noticable movement. Are the blades loose?

It may be moot as I'm trying to switch the holders anyway, just curious.

not really loose just the way they sit in those holders..........

gave the nut a half a turn. Is there a torque (ft/lbs) setting? or just when snug?

just snug and a little extra. Try not to overtighten them as the plastic will be ruined inside
