Tapered Blades

Recommended Posts

A composite Easton tapered blade goes for C$70 to C$90 at my National Sports. The tapered wood blade from Easton goes for C$30.

Can someone suggest other composite alternatives at more reasonable price levels?

Thanks

Christian blades are sold at Corbett's SFS in Oakville and the wood blades are $34 Cdn... still in your Easton price range.

Will the blades be on sale at National's sale next week? If so, stock up. Or keep an eye on ebay.

Try the national sports outlets, There's one near me at Sheppard and Weston rd. about a month ago they had about 5-10 wood R2 nash patterns in both hands for 19.99 marked down from 26.99

I'm trying to stay away from wood blades if possible.

Anyone make ABS tapered blades? They are more cost effective compared to composites, and perform better than wood for ball hockey.

Composite blades usually are at the same price. Hockey Monkey currently has Mission ProStock tapered blades available. There is a nice thread here on these blades. Otherwise I suggest looking in the sell section where guys like Shorthanded67 and some others offer up good deals on blades

Hockeymonkey and epuck both have the Bauer Vapor XV blades on closeout, but limited patterns.

Probably not as helpful since you're in canada, but hey, ya never know.
