Nasty Knee in the Groin

Recommended Posts

Wow!

#91 on Oaklands D....in a post-play pushing match with a Seattle Receiver, hauls off and knees him in the junk. He got 15 (Unnecessary Roughness) & tossed from the game...

So you step on a guys head (sans helmet) the NFL gives you what, a 5 game suspension....let's see what this guy gets.

Is it just me or is this just not a good year for football? Maybe I've been paying more attention to it than I did in the past, but it seems like the sport is getting black eyes left and right lately.

Kosy, it really seems as though this kind of thing has been getting progressively worse over the past couple years. Everything has been going kinda downhill for awhile now, and it doesn't seem like they've reached rock bottom, yet. A lot of it has to do with the egos of the guys who have come-up lately. Christ, look at Kellen Winslow Jr...

Stevens is a punk, watch the beginning of the play, he fires his leg up between the other guy's legs first.

Also Stevens has a pretty long history since being in the league of cheap shotting guys and pussing out when they want to do something about it.

Also, all you need to know about Stevens is all the shit he talked before the super bowl, then got alligator arms in the big game.

Of course its not going to be as bad as the stepping on the head incident, for no other reason then the guy it happened to had (should have) a cup on. Not that that feels good anyway.

The 'discipline' act this season that I've hated so far is fining Chad Johnson for wearing an "Ocho Cinco" patch on his back jersey. The last thing the NFL should do is censor a guy like Ocho Cinco, the guy is comic gold. The NFL is about entertainment, so let him entertain. Hell, if he wants to set off fireworks in the endzone after a touchdown I wouldn't care, cause I'm sure it'll be hilarious the way he did it.
