TPS Adrenaline vs. Adrenaline Control

Asked this before in another thread, but did not get a response. Any difference between these two sticks other than the grip coating on the Control? Price difference is about $60, but the descriptions look identical. They are not charging $60 for the coating, are they??

I have a feeling that the difference is so huge because the Adrenaline came out about a year before the control model came out, and shops were sitting on the regular adrenalines for that time, and want it to move. the control is new this year.
