RBK 9K vs Bauer 8090

Ok, I have a bit of a strange situation here. I have a pair of 9.5D 8090s that I'm perfectly happy with, they're excellent skates. However, they're getting to the point where I need to start looking for a new pair of something. There's a guy locally who has a pair of 9D RBK 9Ks that he used for a couple hours and is now selling. There's no ice on campus right now as the new rink is being constructed, and with the schedule and exams coming I'm not going to get a chance to play or try them out for. He's selling them very cheap, I'm considering buying them and if they don't fit, sell them off. Basically I'm wondering if the sizing is comparable to my current 8090s, and if they fit somewhat similarly. Thanks everyone.

Fit-wise, the same, but the 8090 has a bit more volume.

Is the 9 RBK about the same lengthwise fit as the 9.5 8090? I'm wondering if the RBK fits like the Tacks? I wore Tacks for years, and was surprised with how comfortable the 8090 was as it is the only Bauer skate that has ever fit me well. In your opinion, do you think it'd be worth getting the 9Ks and seeing if they work, is the fit close enough?

Also, if anyone has any strong opinions regarding the 9K, positive or negative, I'd love to hear them.

JR, sorry if I've misunderstood you. Are you saying the 9 RBK is the same length as the 9.5 8090, or that a 9.5 RBK is the same length as a 9.5 8090?

They aren't exactly a half size apart and I just happen to be in the range that allows me to be able to go down the extra half in Tacks/RBKs.
