What to get

I am getting some new leg pads, but i don't know what to get, I think that i have it down to three pads, Vaughn velo 3 (when they come out), Epics, or the smiths 2ooo, any other suggenstions will help.

No where near enough information to make any recommendation. Have you seen or played in any of the above? Why did you limit it to those three? Why would you pick a pad that nobody has any idea about nor even seen yet?

Ah id love to be buying new gear again, cant say a bad word bout my kohos, have them for a long time now, havent played in a while though. Havent heard much bout the newest gear either.

Why would u narrow it down. I just got the 9.8 Prodigys. I love them. Cant say a thing negative about them. I also herd many good things about the TPS Summit.So i wouldnt narrow anything down untill you have tried out everything.

Not be a butt, but you sure about that? Cause the v3s are more of a rumor/speculation. And Smiths are custom order. And interesting you got the Epic and Velo, since it seems people like one or the other.

Yeah that's true...but still speculating on what it's exactly gonna be...a v2 with pro mods, etc. But was thinking, how'd he try them on?

I didnt try on the v3s a just tried on the v2s and if the v3s only have pro modes i wouldnt think they could be that much different

cook, what kind of style do you play? theres plenty of pads out there that serve diff. styled goalies better than others...if youre a heavy butterfly goalie, a pad like the eagle fusion helps alot...more of a stand-up? go for somethnig with more tapered tops and toes like a bionic (cheap price now)...people always think that the v2s are the ultimate butterfly style pad...they arent..they give you the option of both..theyre just rediculously easy to play butterfly in...if youre a 40 year old man looknig to go to his first "butterfly pad", velos are them..i wear mckenney insticnts and think theyre great...wouldnt switch out of them...
