Custom One90's Worth it?

Recommended Posts

I have a buddy who got ahold of these custom One90's and is offering them to me. The boot looks the same on the outside, but the inside is leather, as opposed to the stock heat moldable boot. Does this make the boot much worse, or does it make it better? Please help guys.

Is the only change the lining - leather instead of clarino? Or were there other changes?

The leather is the only change on the inside of the boot. The runner is obviously different as well.

at the price these skates cost retail, they should be custom for everyone...

Ha, I agree. He's giving me a pretty good deal though. Somewhat below retail.

There will be no difference molding these skates. Those are Philips skates but I will find out who they were made for from the ticket # on the insoles.

That should read NOT made for Philips.

thanks JR.

Same dude, same pics. He's got three pairs. I guess Phillips wasnt a fan of the skate and realized that after three pairs were made for him. I've got one pair now, he ebay'd the other, and kept one for himself.

You just had the Director of Advanced Research at NBH saying that those aren't Phillips' skates...

I just went off of what I was told. Bad info I guess. I do know they fit me perfectly. I'm a 10.5 in a normal bauer boot and these are a 10 1/4 and are like a glove.
