hybrid blades

How is the feel of the different hybrid blades out there? Is it closer to wood or to composite. I just don't have the hands for composite but hate the feel of a wood blade going soft and being flexible.

i use a synthesis hybrid blade. it was an easy switch from composite. i love the feel and the blades have held up really well.

im not 100%, but for 1 thing, the hybrids are much cheaper and the composite one is lighter

"hybrid" blades are just that...part wood, part composite.

Hybrids don't seem to be as stiff as full composite blades. The construction is different; from what I can tell, the hybrids have a fiberglass wrap around a softer carbon blade, whereas full composite blades have a harder outer layer, usually with a foam core.

I've got a hybrid synthesis blade in my L-2 shaft. Feel is decent, but I seem to have decent feel with almost any stick as long as it's got the right lie.

I use Hybrids often in my Synthesis, and i havnt had a problem with them. Have held up real well too, better than the full composite blades.

They are good blades, the only trouble I had with them was getting a shaft that would not make the combo blade heavy, I usually ended up cutting down a fair bit of composite and usually a wooden plug
