g9's

I have a high arch and a wide foot....The graf website says these are good for people with that. I am looking to get a pair of these but I have herd things about them being ridicously heavy. I am in synergy 1500 c's right now. Would the weight difference (if there is one) effect me at all.

thanks for help

Ha will the weight affect you haha

Are you playing in the N.H.L?

I think that answers your question

i hate when kids make such a big deal about weight of equipment. unless its a stick, the weight shouldn't matter. i could see shoulder pads weighing you down if they are rediculously heavy but other than that you shouldn't worry too much about it.

I was asking a simple question you don't have to be a dick head and ask if I am playing in the nhl. Obviously weight can effect you in anything. Nice avatar by the way..Is that you in your tu-tu...

I'll answer your question online instead of PM

Yes weight can affect you but will you notice the weight?

I'am sure that most players nowa days can't tell the difference between most skates because most of them are pretty much equal.

And if they knew anything about funny movies you would know that my avatar is from ace ventura

from what i've gathered, one of the reasons the G9s and other grafs can get heavy is that the liner soaks up water and it takes a long time to dry.

get G9s, then get a boot dryer. problem solved.

not to mention if you try them on in you LHS, you'll know right away how much they weigh. And actually buy them there, because you sure as heck aren't saving any money buying them online.

I would say that you certainly can notice the weight of the G9's if you are used to a lighter skate.Even when dry, they are on the heavy side. Still, they are a great skate and a boot dryer would help. I used to take out the insoles and let them dry in front of a fan, but obviously, you can't do that between games.

I have the g9s and i love them! They are for shure not the lightest, but imo they are the most comfortable. Its not like they are the heaviest skates on the market but they dont compare to the easton 1500 or the bauer one 90s.I think that they would be perfect for your foot and would highly reccomend them.Good luck with whatever you get!
