CCM 652 into RBK 7k (no pump)

Hi everyone, just found this site after locating another on goalie equipment-this is just what I was looking for!

Anyway with Christmas on its way, we,(errr Santa) has purchased RBK 7k Juniors for our Squirt he is currently in CCM 652's...

he is more of a finesse skater than power skater and we have had no fit problems with the 652's...any thoughts would help.

The 7K's are a probably a bit wider in the mid-foot than the 652's but it is an excellent skate probably more comparible to and 852 or 952 skate. I think it's a good choice. I have the 8K's and find them to be fantastic so the 7K is probably comparible in comfort and performance.

They are great skates and the pitch and radius are the same for both of them. That should make the transition easy. However, the boot fits a bit different. The Tack line of skates fits pretty shallow when compared to the RBK:s wich are a much deeper fitting (high volume) skate. It also fits wider in the midfoot area. So if he has wider feet and a high instep they should be fine. As for the heel cup, the 652:s offers a more narrow fit. The toebox runs pretty similar from what I know...

Your best bet is the RBK.

Did you even read the post?

To your post I have had many customers make the switch from Tacks to RBK and most have said the RBK is very comftorbale comming from a Tack and it is an easy switch to make.
