I have been to a lot of the stores in Toronto that have these Kovalchuk Dolomites / 1100s, and there are many many variations of the curve. Some that I've seen have a WICKED toe curve (almost like a hook at the end of the blade), some have a very mild toe curve (like the one I bought) and some are in between...Even at the same store, you may not find two sticks that are completely alike...

interesting. i know there's variations, just didn't realize there were *that* many.

what i'm looking for is a pretty deep toe hook.

anything lesser would be too similar to a RBK IW to bother getting.

I gotta go get some more of these Kovalchuk's too. I got it a few weeks ago when National had the sale and I've been having so much fun taking slapshots with it. It's weird though.. I think I make contact with the staight part of the blade but my slapshots seem so much harder with the nasty toe hook than say an Easton Forsberg.

Btw Misconduct, have you tried to ACC store? My friend went there last time and said he saw some Kaberle ak27s for $80.

Oh my sweet Jesus SickLife.

That is truely God-worthy. What's the flex like?

thats my stick...sicklife musta taken the pic off the other board. its a 260 so about an easton 90, i love it. the only difference the toe curve gives me is super-wicked toe-drags.

i wasn't claiming it was my stick. i just bought it in this thread, i thought that was obvious. i was just posting a pic of it because of all the talk about how there's different curves for it so we could know which we were getting.

do you really feel like its an easton 90? i have a 255 flex kaberle & it feels almost as soft as my 75 flex warrior.

Yours was used by Kaberle, me and Miss Conduct. I tend to soft up composites fairly quickly, so it should feeler like a lighter flex, but 75 is a stretch.
