im looking for a

z-bubble grip shaft and a synergy st blade (lidstrom-left)

where could he possibly find one brandnew in virginia?

any shops nearby? or is it a lot easier to shop online for

that and ship it to his place?

well in Charlottesville VA, they have Zbubble shafts, but no ST blades(got a Vapor V2 blade though) This rink is hard to find(my home rink) but i can try give you the best directions i can.

The best shop is up at the ashburn ice house(Up North close to DC). they have everything you could ever want/ need.

I live in Virginia Beach, and pretty much the only place I go to is Arena Sports inside of the Chilled Ponds rink. You could have him try Play it Again Sports also, but other than that, I dont know of any other places.

I used to go to ashburn ice, but the service has been bad the last few times I was there, and the selection isn't as good as it used to be.

If your friend is in the NOVA area, go to For Sports, its the proshop in the laurel ice gardens rink. The have an absolutely huge selection of gear, everything

Also, Mike, who owns it, is really helpful, and won't try to sell you on a bunch of crap you don't need (which was my problem with ashburn, as a beginner, they sort of tried to make me buy more/higher end rather than what fitted my buget/experience)
