Just thought id say hi as i should stop ghosting these forums and post a little. And maybe introduce myself a little.

Im 18, been playing roller hockey all my life and recently switched to Ice. Im picking up my first composite stick tomorrow (what it is, a totally different situation)

So, hi =p and real quick on my stick situation. I'm 5'9 135LBS. Been working out and putting on a little, not as much as i want to but thats going to change soon. I guess an 85 flex is good for me.

My options on the composite are a

Dolo II Grip Shaft + blade combo (roughly $160 total, and i really like the grip on this stick)

Synergy ST (only left handed non grip ones were 100 flex :/) $145ish

CCM Vector 8.0 (atleast i think its an 8.0, guy says its last years model. Tagged at $220 on sale for $110.)

Any advice on the stick is appreciated but im mostly just introducing myself. Other stick recommendations are totally welcome too, i'll let you know how i end up tomorrow.

Welcome to the board. Try searching...You'll find lots of useful info about sticks, but at the end of the day...most guys on here will tell you that it is personal preference. What works for one guy, might not work for you.

Trying searching +stick +recommendations.

Cheers.

Perhaps the 75 flex dolomite shaft? Its hard to tell how much i need to and if i need to cut it w/o the blade being on. But if i have to cut it at all, the 75 flex might be just right, maybe? Also I believe the "Regular" flex (i think thats what its called) is equal to 85 Easton which was what i saw on the Vector.

edit: looking at pictures of sticks the vector looked like the 10.0. I believe the 10.0 was out last year, correct me if im wrong.
