Stick questions

I just took the blade out of my 1 piece xn10...i heated it a lot and it came out, my question is did I damage the shaft by heating it this much? Also when I flex the stick I hear a slight crunching noise in the middle of the shaft, do you think it will hold up or is it just some loose kevlar or something? I have had about 9 xn10's and never once broke the shaft but always the blade so I am hoping this shaft will last a long time. Thanks everyone.

Did you flex the shaft after inserting a new blade into it?

This is usually not a good thing to do. I have overheated on a stove top my Easton Ultra Lite, but I always wait at least an hour for it to cool off before even touching it.

i waited for it to cool before i flexed it...but the shaft in the middle is making slight crunching noises do you think its about to snap?

You no more weakened the shaft than you would with a 'regular' two peice combination.
