Vapor XX or Supreme 70's

Recommended Posts

I have one70's.. at first I didn't really like them because I was coming from TPS HGTs which were much looser and had 2 yrs of break-in.. at first thought, I felt the one70's were very stiff and the palm was hard almost making my hand cramp to grip my stick (on the top hand).. but this was really only for the first or second time wearing them. Now I've had them for about 6 weeks (wearing them twice a week) and they have broken in really well. I don't know how protective they are because I haven't taken any bad slashes or shots in the hands but they seem pretty protective. I've grown to like the tighter fit and now my old gloves feel really loose when putting them back on. For the price, you can't go wrong.. takes a little getting used to the looks though.. ps.. never tried the XX so I can't compare.

I think the XX's and one90's would compare better performance-wise. OR the one70's and XV's.

Anyways, XX = more relaxed, loose fit (I love them), One90's = tighter, more agressive fit.

depends on how tight you want your gloves. The XX are tigher than a traditional glove but not as tight as a supreme70/one90. The airflow on my one90s is really nice, keeps my hand cool and somewhat dry. The only problem(and I don't know whether the supreme70s have the same issue) is that slashes on the NBH logo hurts like hell. I also don't know whether that problem is on the XXs but something to think about.

Thank you for the comments. I do not like a very loose fitting glove and have not seen the one 90's at my lHS. Both the 70's and the XX have a better feel. I think I like the feel of the palms in the XX more and will go with this glove.

Thanks again

can't go wrong with XXs, they are a nice glove. The one90s palm is completely different than the supreme70s so I would recommend not buying them till you see and feel them.

You've been around a week and a half and a couple different mods have warned you. You are now suspended for the next 7 days, I would hope you are more productive in your posting when you return.

I apologize for the distraction from the original topic.

I really didn't like the palm on my 70s at first, but after breaking it in, its really nice and soft... sometimes its hard to tell how a glove will feel on your hands a month down the road when first trying them on because you have to factor the break-in time. bottom line, I end up liking my one70s, I have a couple teammates that swear by their XX, both are good gloves,,, hope this helped.

this may be a little bit late, but the palms wore out very quickly on my supreme 70 gloves. i think it was only 4 months before there was a hole that was about the size of a quarter in the palm of my right hand ( I shoot left) and both were very stiff and crusty at that point in time also. this was after i tried the shaving cream thing and even leather conditioner. i got fed up but now i am sporting a pair of MIAs in black leather B)
