Pro stock Warriors

Anyone have a pro stock warrior stick and have a horrible glaze job done on it? The right side is fine but the left sinks in, like you can see exactly where they shaft and blade meet. This shouldn't be a problem should it? I really don't want to have to send it back to hockeymonkey beings their service is awful.

The vast majority of Dolomites I've seen have very visible fuse points. I don't know if this affects the durability or not, I just know most are like what yours sounds like.

I think I have seen a couple of pro return Inno 1100's like that. I assumed that's why they were called "pro-returns", "over runs" or whatever you want to call it.

Personally, if it feels structurally fine (solid) on the ice than it should be okay.

All the Warriors I saw at The Garden were like that (Shanny, Roszival, Ozolinsh). Very clear fuse area, looked like spray paint just on that one section. Kinda cheap looking if you ask me.

On some of them they didn't even try to hide the fuse point. I saw whole batches that looked like they were 1100 shafts and with the inno blades, but they were actually the "ops's"

Does it really matter though? I mean if you have the money to just throw away the stick because you don't want to change the blade then thats one thing. But if you plan on replacing the blade, who cares if the fuse point is visible. If anything it makes it easier to replace. Personally I will take function over looks any day, especially with the Warrior's which are just repaints anyway.

oh dont get me wrong, im not saying that I personally wouldn't use one. But i am SURE there are some that would not.

Not to mention it would throw an uninformed player/parrent for a loop when some one tries to tell them "yeah, that stick is actually a one-piece."

actually, nobody believes me when I tell them their one piece is actually a two piece.

I've got a retail dolomite, the fuse point is very visible. Same goes for my friends' Dolo and 2 Starskies.
