Converting CCM Vector Pros to inline

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I am new to this great forum.

I have a pair of CCM PF8 inliners, they are a year old and the boot are totaly finished. Not the quality you would expect from CCM. :(

I can get a pair of CCM Vector Pros on sale and i was thinking of converting them in to inliners. I have a pair of Vector Pros that i use fore icehockey an its size 8D.I like to ues the chassis from the PF8´s, its like new but its a size 9. Will the chassis from the PF8´s fit a size 8 Vector Pro boot?

I hope you can help. Thanks.

they should fit no problem, but I'd recommend a better chassis for a better overall skate. I'm not sure what CCM did initially with the alum alloy on the PF series skates, but it can be bent from tightening your wheels a quarter turn too tight. Invest in a better frame and you will thank yourself for it.

If your buying the Vectors on sale from a onlinestore order the red star e-frames with them, góod solid hi-lo frame.

Otherwise snoop around an see if one of your teammates have a pair of old mission skates or something similar.

Or you could buy a chassis from one of the German onlinestores, e.g:

Thanks Patrick67. I´ve got the skate on sale fore only 67 euro ore $86 last weekend. I don´t know about the chassis. I been happy with the CCM PF8 chassis the last year. Its a lot better then my last alu ccm hi-lo frame. That got bent all the time but the PF8 chassis are still not bent.

I just ordered a sprung frame. So i´ll see wenn i get it how good it is. Sprungster is on hes way to China so i think it will be a couple weeks before i get it. He will send it to Luxembourg fore me, to my sister so i dont have to pay the high danish import tax ;-). Thats service, thanks again Keith.
