FatAndSlow 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2007 I play outdoor roller and one of the goal nets needs to be replaced. The city has been "dragging its feet" to the point that I'm thinking of just getting one myself. The goals themselves are heavy duty. It would not suprise me at all if they are the same used at ice rinks. The goals have metal "loops" along the each of the posts. I was wondering what kind of net I should buy. Is it difficult to install? Thanks in advance...
JR Boucicaut 3801 Report post Posted January 17, 2007 It's time consuming but it can be done. Do a search for hockey nets...they sell the pro twine and you just string it. If you want a quality job, and it'll take a couple of days, sew every loop and knot it and cut them off. Then burn the tips so that it melts in and doesn't fray.
