Nike Padded Chin Strap

Has anybody tried one of these for a hockey cage? Every time I've seen somebody mention the Nike Drifit one that comes with their cages, they rave about it.

The snaps appear to be the same, but one could probably use the strap from another one.

I have one of the Nike Dri-Fit sleeves tht's designed for football helmet chin cups. I just slid it over the chin cup on my CCM cage and it works perfectly. Only cost about $4 from a local sports store.

No offense, but why would one need a padded chinstrap? Chin cup on a cage sure, but chinstrap?
