how dark are the tints on this visor?

is this only designed to reduce the glare with minimal darkening...

or is this generally a dark lens just like sunglasses that are mirrored?

No, they're both pretty dark. The mirror is worse but both are significant.

might just be me but the Itech isn't as dark as the Oakley one but the mirrored Itechs are pretty freakin dark

I'm with jbyun04. I have an HS22 tinted and it isn't that dark. The Oakley tints are darker. The mirrored Itechs are really dark though. Not great in recreational rinks IMO.
