Eagle Custom Pro vs. Pro Stock Gloves

Recommended Posts

Pro stock used to mean they were made for someone, now it's often a special model they call pro. It's really hard to tell you exactly what they are without knowing more.

The 2006 Eagle catalog lists a "Custom Pro" glove. The 2007 Eagle catalog (both online with MSH) lists a "Pro Stock" glove. I was wondering if anyone knew the differences between the two and how they compare with an X70 or X72.

The Eagle "Custom Pro" gloves are exactly that. Anything you want. colors, palms, etc....could be and X70 clone or traditional 4 backroll.

Eagle pro stocks are made for a particular player and to their specifications.

As Chadd said it's hard to tell without a pic.

I'm holding the catalog in my hand right now and it looks like the pro stock is the same thing as the old CP. It's just a stock version of the CP.

I was under the impression that all Cps were traditional 4 backroll. If you are getting an x70 clone, why not jut get x70s?

top shelf, you could get cp94s in x-70 clone for the fit and feel of the x70 with custom palms or tufftek. I saw a pair of Demitra x-70 clones on ebay in tufftek that were marked CP94.

I see, thanks for clearing that up. I was assuming that all custom ordered gloves were marked CP94/5. I still don't see why they would mark Demitra's x70s as 94s. I always thought they were the same glove, but 70s having angled backrolls and a shorter cuff.

Is there any difference between a custom X70 and a CP94?

Yes, there can be quite a few depending on what you want. Some definite differences are the cuff, the back rolls and I believe the palms are different.

The size and overall feel of the glove is obviously going to be different.
