You know...The NHL had how many years to prepare for this? And the joke they are, they have a schmuck with a stopwatch doing the skating times because the electronic one was not working....Terrible

Also, great planning as it was on the same night as the state of the union. Not that it matters much because the audiences are completely different, but it was still not the best move

Actually the audiences are not that different. NHL fans have the highest education and income levels of any "major" sport when they do the annual surveys. That is likely to be the same people who will watch the state of the union.

Young Stars game = Booooring!

No one played defense, no hitting, no intensity. Just a bunch of talented players fooling around on the ice. Kind of like watching a talent-rich pick up game.

Yeah, the game was pretty terrible. You would have thought that there would have been a little intensity out there. IMO, Malkin was definetely the worst. Doesn't get a single point when his team scores nine goals!

i was just watching a quick video of the hardest shot and the announcer for CBC said he was talking to chara about the flex of his stick and he asked Chara around like 140 and Chara said are stiff as they can go, so i'm guessing his flex is around 160-170, pretty interesting
