Reebok 7K skates - no Pump

Has anyone tried/used the RBK 7K skates without the pump? I can't find much information on them. Just wanted to know if the quality compares to a Tacks/Vector.

A few buddies of mine have it. They've been very happy with the skate. It's stiff and very durable. One of my friends in particular is very rough on his skates and almost 1 year in his skates still look good.

the diff between this and the 8ks are just the fitting?

fit should be about the same, 8k was top of the line, 7k (non pump) was just below it.

I have a pair of 8K's and have found them to be excellent skates both for fit and performance. The 7K is just a step below the 8K but the fit is the same and it has Pro ankle support as well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the 7K, it's a great top end skate.

Thanks for all the replies. They seem like a nice skate, and for me I think the pump isn't necessary if the skate fits. I do like the CCM/RBK fit, just have to get used to the skate-lock thing...

Once you do, you'll love it.

I'm very happy with my 8k's. You should be able to find some info on the 7k's on sites that are still selling them. I know the RBK site still lists the 8k.
