If I wanted one of those shaved down Ergo grips how would I go about requesting one. I tend to keep the butt end of my stick in my palm and it has worn a huge whole in the center of my glove

Ogie should make a grip that has the same lie. All of there grips change the lie of your stick the way it sits. I have never seen one with a straight grip yet, they are all curved. Why don't they try to duplicate some tape jobs then they would eliminate the need for tape up top.

Oggie does make a grip with the same lie -- the Classic Grip. It's an easier transition for players, since their stick is the same "shape" as before. On the other hand, the Ergo outsells the Classic by about 9 to 1. Generally, if people simultaneously hold out the same sticks, yet with different grips, most people find the Ergo just a bit more comfortable.

Ok. We don’t recommend you try this at home but, we’ve done this in response to many players including some pros that say they like to hold their hand halfway off the stick.

We've modified our Ergo Grip and show some pics below. Check this out.

Pic 1. Shave and round off the top side and bottom side of the grip on a belt sander.

Pic 2. Shows the completed shaved end of the grip before application of cohesive tape. Don’t be afraid to take the rubber off when sanding. (It looks like total crap huh?)

Can I buy a shaved down oggie grip?

Or should I get one from inline warehouse for 12 bucks and just do it myself. I think I'll try out with the mushroom end first I doubt I'll like it though
