I found sites that list 400 games for a player to be eligible for the NHL pension but do goalies have a different requirement?

I would imagine it would be the same. They're all part of the NHLPA.

I wouldn't be surprised if its different. Its much more common for a player to play 400 games than it is a goalie.

Maybe its 400 games on the game roster for a goalie? Doesnt really seem fair to the players...but ya, my best guesstimate.

maybe it means to dress for 400 games. Example: he plays 300 games and is the backup goalie for 100

I thought it was around like 100 starts or something along those lines.
