I was in Pittsburgh this weekend for the Pens Fantasy Camp and I was able to take a tour of the Pens Locker Room and I was also able to take a peek into the Caps Locker Room. Here are some pics...

Crosby doesn't have any lacelocks on his 9ks. I'm pretty sure that kovalev didn't have them either.

The nameplate on one of malkin's sticks says 107.. guess it's the flex on it.

i seem to remember one of malkin's vapor xxx-lites being 112 flex so im not sure if the # on the one90 means its 107 flex.

I got Mario to sign my authentic Pens Jersey and Marc-Andre Fleury signed a puck for me. His dad was actually playing in the Camp. His team played my brother's team in the Finals.

I forgot the other part of your question. I didn't get to see the Kronik up close. We weren't allowed in the Caps dressing room. I just stood by the doorway and shot into it. Thankfully Ovy's sticks were really close to the door that's how I was able to get the up close pics of his stuff.

it sortta looks like ovechkin has a "third period" stick. three marked with red tape; one with black. the black ones looks like a slightly smaller curve. probably just a weird angle. good pics.

A lot of Pens players use C+, I think it's either an availability or ice-condition thing.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. My dad got me a Crosby jersey for my birthday (an authentic reebok). He got it from the shop at Mellon Arena. The lady said Crosby comes in there all the time and picks up new jerseys. The jersey I got was the last one they were getting in his size so I probably took the jersey he was going to use eventually.

They're durable, and most players are used to them and prefer not to get used to a differnet holder, also it's easier for the equiptment manager to take less models of holder around.

Most people don't realize how strong Crosby is either, they think he's a featherweight...

Seeing how Ovy shoots in those odd positions(one knee on the ice) I can see why he'd use a reg flex stick. Just kinda shocking how fast his release is with a reg flex, I feel like my release is 2 times slower with a reg flex over a 110.
