Federov Clone?

Any brands besides warrior make a blade that is the same as a federove curve? I absolutely love this curve but the blade itself doesnt quite have the best durability and is chipping rapidly. thanks in advance.

Those are not the same from what I know. Federov has a lie of 4 and those others have 5.

Well seeing as how lie wasn't mentioned then no, no one else makes it in a 4.

The lies that warrior lists are innacurate. The Federov pattern is actually a 5 lie. When lined up with an Easton Forsberg/Modano blade, the Federov blade has the same lie and curve. I have also used a Bauer PM9 which is identical to both the Federov and Forsberg/Modano.

Don't forget Mission's Elias/Gaborik and now Boyes (renamed pattern), although word on the street is that the lie has been bumped up to a 5.5 for 07.

The Fedorov is ever so slightly lower than a 5 (like a 4.85. seriously.) but plays identical to every other 5 lie stick (all modano clones) I have that are cut to the same length.

Christian #1 is also a Modo clone, as is the Sherwood Bouchard.

The blade on the Sherwood Bouchard is a little wider than the Warrior Fedorov and Easton Forsberg.

Your right there. I was at my LHS yesterday and comparing the lies of sticks and the Warrior Fed. compared to the RBK Modon & Eastom Fors. is so close to right on it's not even funny.
