Best mid range wide skate

I need to buy new skates and was wondering what I should buy. I have a very wide foot. Someone told me the newer CCM are wider skates. In shoes I buy EE or EEE. Any suggesstions what I should look at?

easton skates are real wide, go for an EE easton

I was at my Local store today and I am also looking for new skates in the mid range. I was looking at the vectors 6.0, and the hbh supreme 50's. But I didn't like the fit at all. Then as I was about to leave, I spotted the nike flexlite 12s on clearance. They were 50% off 399.99. So I tried them on. They were so comfy! I'm going back tom. to get them and bake them. I have wide feet at the toe, and the D size fits perfect. So I think that a EE would fit your foot.

The F1's are wider than most skates.

the widest skates i have found are v-12's.

if they fit your foot, you could probably get them for like $200 and thats a good deal for top of the line skates!

I have a really wide, thick foot.... I've been in Eastons, and they made me miserable. I've been in RBK skates since. The 5K Pump is great, if you don't need a super stiff boot.

RBK's older non-pumps can be found for reasonable prices, such as 7K's.

Without a doubt Nike V line (9,10,12) or the Flexlite line. More toe and forefoot space than any on the market. The thing I like about Nike skates is they give you high end features of most of the major brands for a fraction of the price. The comfort is great, right out of the box and they have decent durability. If you have wider or chunkier feet they are the way to go. If your feet are slighty slimmer you could go with CCM "E" WIDTH or Easton "EE" WIDTH with the 800c to 1500C having the wider toe area ( as previously mentioned).

Another awesome wide/deep skate that is no longer made is the Bauer 8090. I have a pair in a EE and like them better than my Vapor XXX. If you can find them they are great skates.
