Blacking out bottom of sticks

I'm thinking there might be more than one idiot involved if you let him do this to your stick. As for making it look better, search around - there have been many threads about spray painting sticks. Off the top of my head, I think it involved using a suitable paint (such as Krylon Fusion) and then a clear coat.

I've done it to a few of my sticks. Right now I can't really think of anybody off the top of my head. (Off Topic)But for the guy who asked about the "making it look good" I just used steel wool. Takes off the bumps and evens it out, makes it look like a flat black paint.

Watching the Wild vs Oilers game right now. Demitra just scored and it looks like hes another one that does it. I think he uses a Synergy SL w/ a painted blade/lower shaft.
