I love the way the Bionics feel, wouldn't mind trying the summits. I love TPS blockers, I would have bought one of those if I didn't get my Demon blocker before I checked out TPS.

all right, never knew how out of the loop i was in goalie equipment. found the smith website and was wondering if any or all of their stuff is good quality.

yeah, me too man!

i took 5 years off and come back this summer to a barrage of goalie gear that i have never heard of!!

i just got my first pair of Smith gloves last friday.

the quality and build of these mits are equal to, if not better than the top goalie gear manufacturers. i have been using VAUGHN equpiment forever and swore i would never buy anything else.

then i was talking to the trainer from our local ECHL team and he told me to check out SMITH and VORTEK. well, i broke down and bought me some Smith gloves and VORTEK leg pads. (smith leg pads are next ;)

i read the interwebs up and down looking for any negative feed back about his gear. other than gripes about graphic designs, i found NOTHING, i repeat NOTHING!! everyone raved about his equipment and they had to have it.

a 16 week wait for leg pads and 8 week wait for gloves is a testament to his products IMO.

i dont work for smith, im just really excited about the product i bought!

i got lucky, he had a demo model that was the color i wanted and the break actually fits my hand (didnt have to go the custom route).

i am really liking the sound of the smith gloves, but the wait is what is keeping me. i don't know if i can have 8 weeks when i finally decide. and i haven't seen the v3's for sale anywhere on the net.

ya, but i have been playing for 10 years straight. i thought my 11.8 x factor's were the top of the line until sum1 said than sanford's pads were 12.8. then i come to find there are like 3 more brands that i hadn't even heard of.

Yeah...enough with the Vaughn promoting. Don't care if you the stepson of the uncle of the brother of the vice president of Vaughn Hockey.
