Chassis Size

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of size 8D mission skates. The chassis don't say a size on them. I have a pair of 7.5 Graf 735's and i was wondering if the chassis would fit on the 735's properly. Would they?

I've been searching and i'm not a roller player (100% ice). I am thinking of taking the holders off of my Mission 110 AG's and putting on some Chassis so I can play some roller with my friends in the summer. My skates are size 11 EE and have 288 holders on them. What size Chassis would I need?

Sorry if this has been covered I've searched and could not find what I needed.

inline chassis dont have numbers like the ice holders have.alot of the inline companies would use one size chassis to go on 3 maybe 4 different boot sizes.if you could line some chassis up to the boot, that would give you a better look at what your skate will look like.you dont want a small frame on a large boot,or a large frame on a small boot .

Allright, thanks for the help. Is there any way of finding out which would fit without taking the holders off of the boot incase I can't find any?

Dougie8, being that you play ice, have you thought about maybe getting a sprung frame.for one, keith at sprung has mounted alot of different sizes, and the new frames are alot stronger and beefier.i would bet keith has mounted a size 11 ice before.the sprung frame are great for ice players that skate on inlines.check out the sprung topic in the roller.if not the sprung frame you can eye up a aluminum frame to the ice skates before you pull the holders off.looking at the skate boot to the frame,i would think you want about 1/2in to 3/4in of wheel sticking out of the front and back of the boot.of couse that would be a rough measure.

Yes, they will. A 7.5 Graf is roughly a 8.5 Mission, and size 8 and 8.5 use the same size chassis. You'll be good to go.

I had a similar question. Would the MG chassis from the 950 boot (size 7.5) fit on a size 7.5 Bauer skate or would it be too small? I don't have the mission boot with me so any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
